Our team members were honored at the ATR Awards Ceremony held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion “Future of Life”!

At the ATR Internal Awards Ceremony held on April 16, 2026, our team members were honored for their contributions to the operation of the Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion “Future of Life”!

Over the course of 184 days, we successfully carried out a long-term demonstration, exhibition, and operations safely and reliably. Through guiding and assisting hundreds of thousands of visitors using Communication Agents (CAs) and androids, we demonstrated both the feasibility and social acceptance of an avatar symbiotic society, showcasing ATR’s meaningful contribution to the Expo.

We are truly honored to have this achievement recognized!

Ms. Horikawa, Group Leader of GOL, received the President’s Award!

For the long-term demonstration at the Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion, She led the design and implementation of a nationwide-scale permanent operational system. She successfully oversaw large-scale operations for more than six months, involving 279 personnel and a total of 1,720 remote operator slots.

In a public environment where failure was not an option, the project was completed without any major incidents, substantially supporting the achievement of ATR’s most critical mission—an accomplishment that is truly irreplaceable.

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, she was awarded the President’s Award!
