What is ITB ?

The Interaction Technology Bank (ITB) was established as a collaborative research and technology hub, dedicated to nurturing advanced interaction technologies in partnership with industry and implementing them in society

Members

In 2019, with the leadership of Director Miyashita, the ITB started with a team of six members: one Senior Research Engineer, two Researchers, one Research Engineer, and one Research Assistant. United as a team, we are committed to leveraging new technologies swiftly to create an exciting and inspiring future.

Project

To achieve JST's Moonshot Goal 1: Realization of a society in which human beings can be free from limitations of body, brain, space, and time by 2050, we will promote the research and development of CA (Cybernetic Avatar) technology, which extends human physical, cognitive, and perceptual abilities.

News & Event

We will introduce the activities and achievements of ITB and the Avatar Symbiotic Society Corporate Consortium.

– Social Implementation of Deep Interaction Research –

To create services and products that enrich people’s lives by leveraging the outcomes of deep interaction research, we are conducting joint research with companies across diverse fields.

Together with industry and research institutions, we refine research outcome into tangible, experiential forms, and promote a backcasting-oriented R&D approach that generates new value based on feedback from society.
By cultivating technologies and applying them appropriately and swiftly, we aim to realize a sustainable society where everyone can feel inspired and excited.
