The “interaction” refers to the action and response of humans and/or things. In our laboratories, ISL,
we are trying to clarify mathematical models of the interaction between human and things, or human
and events through conducting experiments with robots. By utilizing such models, we aim to be able to
explain and predict people’s reactions and feelings to products / robots / environments / services, and
also to be able to design them.
We challenge to create a comfortable future by simultaneously advancing cutting-edge research and
social implementation of the “interaction.”
