A student delegation from Twente University, Netherlands, visited our institute.

On September 29, 2025, a delegation of 33 students (30 students and 3 faculty advisors) from the Master's Program in Bioengineering and Medical Technology at the University of Twente, Netherlands, visited our institute.

They observed a demonstration of the movable Cybernetic Avatar, Teleco and experienced interacting with ATR's reception android ‘ERICA’. We also introduced our efforts utilizing avatars, including details of proof-of-concept experiments and past initiatives under the “Moonshot Goal 1: Realization of a society in which human beings can be free from limitations of body, brain, space, and time by 2050,” under the theme “Our Lives Expanded by Avatars”.
