The first DFL+JST workshop has been held.

On May 26, 2025, eight people, including Khalfan Khalfan, the CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFL), visited Japan. The first joint workshop between the DFL and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) was held during this visit.

The DFL is conducting joint research toward the internationalization of an avatar coexistence society. Previously, the workshop had only been held in Dubai, but this was the first time it was held in Japan.

In addition to the research presentations, the workshop included a tour of the Osaka-Kansai Expo's signature pavilion, the "Future of Life," as well as a visit to the avatar remote control site.
