Ms. Horikawa, Group Leader of GOL, received the President\u2019s Award!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For the long-term demonstration at the Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion, She led the design and implementation of a nationwide-scale permanent operational system. She successfully oversaw large-scale operations for more than six months, involving 279 personnel and a total of 1,720 remote operator slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a public environment where failure was not an option, the project was completed without any major incidents, substantially supporting the achievement of ATR\u2019s most critical mission\u2014an accomplishment that is truly irreplaceable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In recognition of this outstanding achievement, she was awarded the President\u2019s Award!<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the ATR Internal Awards Ceremony held on April 16, 2026, our team members were honored for their contributions to the operation of the Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion \u201cFuture of Life\u201d! Over the course of 184 days, we successfully carried out a long-term demonstration, exhibition, and operations safely and reliably. Through guiding and assisting hundreds of thousands of visitors using Communication Agents (CAs) and androids, we demonstrated both the feasibility and social acceptance of an avatar symbiotic society, showcasing ATR\u2019s meaningful contribution to the Expo.
