We sincerely thank everyone who attended!<\/p>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\r\n<p>This year's theme was <strong>\"The Forefront of Science and Technology Addressing Social Issues.\"<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\r\n<p>The exhibition structure was completely revamped, shifting from laboratory units to solution units, making it easier to understand the research dedicated to solving pressing social challenges.<\/p>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\r\n<p>We, the Deep Interaction Laboratory (DIL), presented the following research outcomes with the goal of realizing an \"A Symbiotic Society\":<\/p>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":5} --><\/p>\r\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assisting Technologies and the Evolution of Avatars for Human Sympathy (8 presentations + Demo)<\/h5>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:list --><\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item -->\r\n<li>The Forefront of Avatar Technology: We introduced multifaceted efforts toward a future symbiotic avatar society, including research on the Hugging-type Cybernetic Avatar (CA), long-term field testing at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, platforms supporting avatar services, and international collaboration.<\/li>\r\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\r\n<li>The demonstration of the Android Avatar that extends human dialogue allowed many attendees to experience the future of conversation technology.<\/li>\r\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:list -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":5} --><\/p>\r\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Neuroscience and Sensing Technologies Supporting Mental and Physical Health (2 presentations)<\/h5>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:list --><\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item -->\r\n<li>We presented research aiming to contribute to a better future, such as the objective assessment of individual differences and the diagnosis of pain based on physiological indicators.<\/li>\r\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:list -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\r\n<p>DIL will continue to promote research activities that are open to the public.
