Individual robots itself are still lack of cognitive abilities necessary for seeing, hearing, speaking, and thinking. Therefore, our goal is to incorporate cameras, tags, wearable sensors, and internet-embedded agents within the environment to serve as companions to the robot. By coordinating these elements, we hope to enable the robot to provide directions and information through conversation and gestures, as if it were asking people for help.

- Linking visible robots with virtual robots (such as agents) and unconscious robots (such as cameras or tags) enables the implementation of advanced dialogue technology in stations, science museums, shopping malls, and other locations. This technology allows robots to adapt their speech patterns and gestures based on environmental conditions and human behavior.

- Advanced dialogue services can also be realized by connecting to ubiquitous network environments (i.e., heterogeneous networks).
